TWO-STROKE TUESDAY: FIVE INSANE KAWASAKI KX125

Kawasaki KX125s are the focus on this week’s Two-Stroke Tuesday brought to you by Boyesen. We show you five insane KX125s and two of them are actual AMA race winning machines! Products from FMF, P3 Carbon and Wiseco are featured in 2-Stroke Hardware and you know 2-Stroke Theater won’t disappoint. Don’t miss the exclusive link to our modern day 250cc Two-Stroke Shootout at the bottom of this page!

If Kawasaki made this KX125 today how many do you think they would sell? We would buy one just to have it sit in our garage to look at. Jon Primo built this one and it’s one of the cleanest plastic conversion kits we have ever seen. See more of this Jon Primo built KX125

Until 2002 Kawasaki had farmed the 125 team out to Mitch Payton and his crew at Pro Circuit. James Stewart was important enough to to be under the Team Chevy Kawasaki tent. See more on this 2002 factory KX125.

Frenchie at C4 MX rebuilt this Kawasaki KX125 for his son to rip around SoCal. As you can see, it has some targeted upgrades in key places, but a lot of the stock parts were cleaned up and used as well. See more of this C4MX KX125.

Coming into the 1991 season Mike Kiedroski was all about redemption. He had just got fired by factory Honda after loosing the 125cc outdoor national championship to Suzuki’s Guy Cooper by one point and all he had on his mind was winning. Kawasaki gave him 100% backing as you can see with this full works machine restored by his then mechanic Shane Nally.  See more of “MX Kieds KX125”

Here is a first look at our Chaparral Kawasaki KX125 built by the lead mechanic of the Precision Concepts off-road race team factory Phil Valdez! You will definitely be seeing more of this machine shortly.

WISECO RACER ELITE PISTON:

The challenge in replacing a piston comes in choosing the proper size piston for the dimensions of the bike’s cylinder. Wiseco has taken the micrometer out of the equation with the Racer Elite 2-Stroke Series pistons. The secret is ArmorFit–a proprietary skirt coating that allows the piston to self-adjust to the cylinder.
