The Weekly Feed: James Stewart- The master of air time!

A HISTORY LESSON: JAMES STEWART GOING BIG

While there are a thousand reasons that James Stewart electrified the moto world, his ability to go for the big huck will always be at the top of the charts. James had a sense for the dramatic, and when he was at the top of his game the ability to ‘unplug’ and make something happen set him world’s apart from the all but a few racers on the planet.

Here is a smattering of JS7 whips and scrubs. Jeremy McGrath was the innovator of staying low on the triples, James did it sideways. No one has done it better.

WHY WEAR UPPER PROTECTION?

This letter came from Bill Berroth, the honcho at Motonation

Dear Fellow Riders;  We all have seen the initial injury report after only two Supercross races. Many upper body injuries have occurred and perhaps seasons ruined….  I am sending you the info below out of concern to our fellow riders.  These injuries are such a waste, perhaps many could have been avoided if the riders chose to wear one of the fine brands of upper body protection available.  Of course Motonation is here to help with the Forcefield brand but please, consider wearing upper body protection!

WOLF: BACK IN THE DAY

Blasting KTM’s ’09 450XC-F on the trails in Flagstaff, AZ. This bike was a missile and rewarded the rider who could hang on and charge. I have a friend who lives in Flag and he took us on a ride that beat us up for the entire day. One long loop, all trail and at the top of the food chain on the Wolf Hoot meter.
