Charlie Mullins is coming back!
Charlie Mullins ‘was’ the hottest commodity in the off-road world. A multi-time GNCC champion, National Enduro Champion and ISDE star, Charlie suffered near catastrophic wrist injuries and ended up having both Navicular bones (also called the scaphoid bone, which has a poor blood supply and will not heal well with continued stress.) This has always been called a career ender (Rick Johnson and Drew Smith to name a couple) but Charlie has recently resurfaced and is training with Aldon Baker (yes Ryan Dungey’s trainer), but more importantly Ryan Villopoto’s, who also came back from a similar Navicular wrist injury. With Aldon’s training schedule and with the help of his Physical Therapist, Charlie is convinced that he will be back racing soon, in spite of the fact that it will be nearly two years since he has seen competition.

ROBBY BELL WINS ELSINORE GP
The 2015 Lake Elsinore Grand Prix was officially cancelled at one point this year, as the shortage of water in Southern California meant that the traditional location could’t be used with the potential of conditions would being too dusty. The promoters scrambled to keep the event alive this year and moved the venue from downtown Lake Elsinore to the local motocross track, making for a shorter race course and quite a bit more of a man-made, motocross feel. In the marquee event of the weekend, the Harvey Mushman 100-mile pro race, Precision Concepts riders Robby Bell and Justin Seeds looked to continue their streak of wins – Seeds having won the event three years in a row (’11, ’12, & ’13), while Bell won it in ’10 and ’15.

STEWART PULLS OUT OF AUSTRALIAN SX
Stating a lack of test time and needed training time has won out over track time under race conditions, (which JS7 really needs since it was so obvious at the Vegas MEC race that James looked a little gun shy). The team knows he needs race reps in competition to sharpen his confidence level, but finishing testing and getting into his ‘boot camp’ training regime into motion and meeting an A1 deadline is of prime importance. James will still race the Bercy-Lille Supercross
