KLIM SCRAMBLE PAK

PRODUCT TEST

PRODUCT: The Klim Scramble Pak is engineered to be a full-capacity, enduro-inspired complete tool pack. Utilizing the convenience of a waist-mounted tool bag, the Scramble incorporates innovative tool organizing and security features to ensure the tool or part you need is there when you need it. It’s a full-capacity tool pack in a waist-belt chassis with additional storage, so you can carry the necessities to get you through an extreme off-road race or through your favorite gnarly loop.

OUR TAKE: Having a good fanny pack is a key ingredient to an off-roader. You want a proper fit, you demand organized storage, you don’t want it too cumbersome and it’s important to have ease of adjustment. The Klim Scramble Pack is definitely heavy-duty, and the material, zippers, compartments, and design let you tote a vast number of tools, spares and personal maintenance items that vary from rider to rider. It has a molded EVA back pad, which is comfy and, more important, grips the body to it so it doesn’t slide down. It’s also very easy to overload yourself, simply because of the variety and design of the storage real estate. The tool pockets are nicely laid out (using secure 1-inch organizational straps), and a fold-down divider gives you additional tool compartments. Two side pockets are easily accessible while you’re wearing the system. We have been using this product for about a year. It is designed for the serious off-roader and is a brutally efficient product.
