PARADE LAP DISATER FOR DIETRICH MEANS CLEAR …

PARADE LAP DISATER FOR DIETRICH MEANS CLEAR …

No one could believe it when Ricky Dietrich cartwheeled his Kawasaki on the parade lap at the WORCS race in Adelanto, CA. It was on a fast whooped out straight away on the motocross track that the number one bike and Dietrich hit the dirt, taking Ricky out of the race with what was probably a broken shoulder. Dietrich has proved to be the only guy who can run with Hughes, so with Ricky on the way to the hospital, Hughes had a pretty easy run to the checkers on the 395 Racetown course. Ryan Hughes took the lead on the first lap and kept it, with Kurt Caselli on his heels but never really threatening for the lead. Nathan Woods worked his way up to third and stayed there until the finish. Round two of the WORCS series consisted of the long moto track and then spit riders out into the soft desert with big rolling whoops and deep sandy corners. The WORCS crew kept the course well watered and dust was never a factor. Hopefully Dietrich will heal fast, Kurt will find just a little more speed so we can see some great racing. Next stop is the brutal Havasu, AZ course in the middle of March.
