Bob Hannah had one of his most prolific years in 1978. Racing a production based YZ250 Hannah won six SX races in a row. Finishing second that year was none other than Marty Tripes, following by Tommy Croft, Kent Howerton and Jimmy Ellis. Here’s Hannah diving under Marty Smith, Honda’s Golden child who struggled in the indoor areans.
