2014 HONDA CRF 250R: PROJECT BIKE SPOTLIGHT

This weeks Project Bike Spotlight is the 2014 CRF 250R with some upgrades for Off-road riding. We made a motocross model CRF into a capable off-road machine. The big tank and headlight are a must for long trail rides that could go into the night. We loved the versatility of the Honda CRF 250R with a few tweaks and upgrades on it, this bike was ready for any terrain.

CRF Project Bike

Backyard Design made us a set of graphics that made the bike look fast even when it was sitting on the stand.

CRF Earth X

The EarthX lithium batteries are designed to be lightweight and maintenance-free. The XXXX model has the capability to store large amounts of energy, recharge quickly and has a built-in electronics to prevent over-discharging, over-charging, plus keep the cells’ charge level balanced .

CRF FMF

The stainless steel FMF 4.1 RCT single-sided exhaust system features a MegaBomb header providing power gains and one silencer with spark-arrestor capabilities for weight savings. Every single-sided FMF CRF250R system comes with an additional left-side flat number plate for free (not pictured)!

CRF STI

STI’s Extreme Duty tubes are made of butyl rubber using their 3mm spec, making it 30 percent thicker than most heavy-duty tubes available and 80 percent thicker than most standard tubes.

CRF Seal Savers

Seal Savers are designed to protect the seals from dust, dirt and mud. The new Zip-Ons can be installed in a matter of minutes and do not require removing your forks from the triple clamps.
