U.S. Trophy Team rider Kurt Caselli suffered through a day salted with a series of falls in the Specials that ended up dropping behind France’s Johnny Aubert for the unofficial ISDE overall lead. Kurt still holds a commanding lead in the E3 class, with more than two minutes separating him and Finland’s Marko Tarkkala. The U.S. Women’s World Cup team took back nearly 8 minutes to extend their lead to 43 minutes over the French women’s team. Both teams have all of their riders intact going into the last full day of racing. The U.S. Junior Trophy Team dropped to seventh place while the U.S. World Trophy Team dropped to ninth as the brutal trail pace has started to take its toll on rider and machine
