CUSTOM CR500 FLAT TRACK BY DEUS CUSTOMS FOR DANI PEDROSA: TWO-STROKE TUESDAY

On this week’s Two-Stroke Tuesday we are doing something a little different. Usually we show you projects we have done or are in the process of doing but we came across this Honda CR500 powered flat tracker built by the Deus Customs crew with some collaboration from Red Bull for Moto GP legend Dani Pedrosa. We just had to tell people about it. This thing is a work of art! This machine is impressive but once you really start looking close the attention to detail shines through and because this is a one-off build everything had to be customized. Engine, suspension and the entire chassis has custom features on it everywhere. The kickstand located on the left side is not a coincidence Dues Customs Michael ‘Woolie’ Woolaway fabricated it that way so it was easier for Pedrosa to start the bike.

The power-plant of Pedrosa’s machine is a 1985 Honda CR500 that was completely rebuilt featuring porting for some extra performance and a built-in compression release making it easier to start..

A Scalvini cone pipe and carbon fiber silencer furthered the machines trick look while a Race Tech shock hand built by Jimmy Wood handled the rear suspension duties. A Saddlemen seat complements the custom body design.

This Lectron Carburettor was hand built by the owner himself with custom internal specifications for the high output Honda CR500 engine. A K&N pod air filter and Mototassinari VForce reed cage all worked together to supply the beast air and fuel.

The old-school custom lines on this machine give the bike tons of character. Up front the Pedrosa bike features a Davie Durelle adjustable triple clamps and Ohlins 43mm Dirt track fork.
