TWO-STROKE TUESDAY : YZ250 OFF-ROAD PROJECT

On this weeks Two-Stroke Tuesday brought to you by Boyesen we take a look at our off-road Yamaha YZ250 build. This machine graced the cover of DB when it was completed. We show you a few items from Hardline, Cylinder Works and Seat Concepts that get your premix flowing. This bike looks fast just sitting on the stand! Magik did a great job on the graphics while Faster USA added strength and style with their wheel set featuring Excel black rims.

Internally the engine was left relatively stock but we did add a V-Force reed cage and FMF pipe for some performance increases.

EBC makes one of the largest oversized front rotor kits on the market at 280mm and it adds tons of stopping power.

The Rekluse auto-clutch virtually eliminates stalling on the trail and a Boyesen Supercooler helps keep the machine cool.

Sunstars Works-Z steel sprocket looks like something out of Mad Max and is tough as nails just like the TM Designs rear chain guide.

MX Dream Bikes did all the grunt work making this build possible.

Just a few off-road necessities IMS tank, GPR Stabilizer, ODI lock-on grips, ARC folding levers and Acerbis X-Factor wrap around hand guards.

The Seat Concepts Super Grip cover incorporates an industry leading rubber grip patch at the lower center of the cover. This means you can hold the bike with your knees and have better control. A great attribute of this design is resistance to damage caused by knee braces. Our ribs have a foam insert to improve resistance to sliding on hard acceleration or braking.

Note:
When ordering a foam and cover kit you will need to look at the bottom of your seat and select the correct kit. There is one with a pocket and one without. There are pictures attached to use as a reference.
