2022 HUSQVARNA TX300 PROJECT :TWO-STROKE TUESDAY

On this week’s Two-Stroke Tuesday brought to you by Decal Works we look at our Husqvarna TX 300i project with Dick’s Racing. Fuel injected 300cc two-stroke owners you don’t want to miss this! Dicks Racing TX300i focuses on suspension versatility and improving power. Dick also included Tusk wheels, Scalvini pipe and silencer, Nitro Mousse foam inserts and Decal Works graphics.

Thunder Racing Dual Torque wings focus the air coming out of the airbox, past the throttle body butterfly valve and into the engine. The Torque wing keeps it low and flowing resulting in a torque increase.

The Acerbis skid plate is lightweight, offers good shielding from abuse and has a tidy flap that protects the lower shock mount.

Dicks uses Tusk Racing wheels, a 19-inch for moto, an 18-inch for off-road. A Tusk rear disc guard offers protection from rocks, the Nitro Mousse inserts virtually eliminate the chances of getting a flat.

Up to this point, the only option was to replace the ECU with an aftermarket unit and attempt to tune it yourself. Dicks Racing researched this extensively and ultimately found a computer genius who cracked the code to gain entry into the stock ECU. Contact Dick’s Racing for more on this process .

Dicks shock mods are really for bigger riders who over power the standard spring rate and damping settings. They use an SRT brake pedal tip and rear brake reservoir extender to promote longer fluid life. Stay tuned for the complete story in an upcoming issue of Dirt Bike Magazine.
