ADELANTO GP

The Adelanto GP has become the largest off-road race on the west coast, complete with a festival atmosphere and massive participation. The 2016 running of the event was promoted by So Cal MC with the cooperation of the town of Adelanto. The course itself is 10 miles long and has a motocross section, an endurocross section, pavement and the infamous waterjump.

Proholeshot+web — The Pro race drew the top off-road riders in the west.

Thompsonpits1web — Blaine Thompson ran his career-best race, leading from start to finish on his Fasthouse Yamaha.

Yorbawoodpileweb — Former Big 6 Pro Number 1 Eric Yorba ran a solid race to finish fourth overall.

Woodcarnageweb — Ty Davis was instrumental in designing the course, which included an insidious firewood section.

vanscourt (2)web — Troy Vanscourt was running well in the Pro 2 class until he ran out of gas.

Shireyturn (2)web — Dalton Shirey just moved up to a 450 and had a great race, finishing second.

Samuels pitsweb — Ox Motorsports’ Mark Samuels run up front but faded to 10th in the 90 minute Pro race.

Pro2holeshotweb — The Pro 2 race was eventually won by Jeremy Newman (281) after a battle with Beau Baron.

Coltonmudweb — Colton Udall struggled after a collision with Justin Seeds, but finished in the top 10.

Belljumpweb — Robby Bell had brake problems and said it just wasn’t his day. Still, he was third.
