PRODUCT: The new Klim Scramble Pak is engineered to be a full-capacity enduro-inspired tool pack. The waist-mounted tool bag incorporates innovative tool organizing and security features, has an external water/oil bottle storage, protection via a Eva back pad and closure straps for packing external cargo. The tool slots use 1-inch organization straps, and it has the ability to attach to the new Klim Quench hydration system.

OUR TAKE: Carrying tools on the trail is a pain but a necessary evil. The Klim Scramble Pak is ergonomically sound, spreading the load so the weight is dispersed nicely. It’s well-pocketed, has substantial storage with cool little additions like a map sleeve, the main compartment is water-resistant, and one final plus is that it attaches to the Quench hydration system so that more of the load is spread out, feeling lighter than normal even when full of tools and spares. This is more than a race pack; it’s an organized off-road toolbox for the serious rider.
