BLAST FROM THE PAST: Whitey Martino

When men were men
Whitey Martino, was born James Martino and came with his family from New Jersey in the 40’s. He is one of the all-time desert racing superstars, was a constant threat to JN Roberts and a member of the infamous Checkers MC. Whitey won a District 37 Championship for Husky in 1969 and was on the first cover of Dirt Bike Magazine with Jim Connolly in 1971. Whitey passed away in 2005.
