The MXGP of Germany took place over the weekend and provided a clear snapshot of the 2019 season with dominating performances from Tim Gajser and Jorge Prado. In the MX1 class, Gajser’s win streak is now five rounds, with his main rival Antonio Cairoli injured. In previous races, Cairoli attempted to ride with the fractured elbow he sustained in Italy, but now he’s out in an attempt to heal properly. Prado’s domination of the MX2 class was interrupted earlier in the year with his own injury, but now he seems fully healed and is back in control of the points standings.
