WORCS SERIES IS A SUCCESS IN SURPRISE ARIZONA

The Dirt Bike staff packed up and headed out to Surprise Arizona over the weekend for the first round of the WORCS race at Speed World and we couldn?t believe how big the event was.

The pits were packed wall to wall with RV?s, trailers, trucks and of course all the Factory semis. The big teams were in attendance and the WORCS crew put together a great event. The pro class was stacked and Ryan Hughes was out to start off the season with a bang, grabbing the holeshot and never looking back. He had Kurt Caselli on his tail for a while but Kurt?s bike stalled coming out of the pits and took time to get fired back up, leaving Ryno out in front even further. Kurt fell back to 5th while firing up his KTM but worked his way back up to 2nd by the end of the two-hour race.

Ricky Dietrich put in a great ride and found himself on the podium with a third. Nathan Woods, sporting the big #1 on his Kawasaki 450 slid out and went down just four corners out of the start and had to work his way back up to 5th from dead last. A big thanks goes out to the WORCS crew for hooking up the Dirt Bike crew so we could do some racing and testing of our own.
