TWO-STROKE TUESDAY : MOTOWHIPS YZ250 PRODIGY PROJECT

On this weeks Two-Stroke Tuesday we give you an exclusive look at our latest collaboration with Yamaha Motors and Justin Myerson from MotoWhips. The “Prodigy” is a tribute to the men and women of law enforcement. 2-Stroke Hardware features items from Rick’s Motorsports Electronics, Rekluse and Mettec Titanium fasteners . As always 2-Stroke Theater is packed full of sweet machines playing music. If you are a Jeremy McGrath fan don’t miss the link to Travis Fants latest adventures at the end of this post. You don’t want to miss it !!!

This build was inspired by the men and women of law enforcement and all they do to keep us safe everyday. The “Prodigy” Yamaha YZ250 built by Justin at MotoWhips is definitely easy on the eye’s!

P3 Carbon skid plates offer loads of case and frame protection with style that is undeniable .

The engine received some love from Mototassinari and Pro Circuit with Mitch Payton himself doing the grinding on the cylinder . Additional carbon fiber items can be bought through MotoWhips. If you look close other details jump out at you.

The carbon fiber gas tank is made by a company out of Italy and is imported by MotoWhips. The seat is a one-off design adding some bling and did you see those fork tubes !!!

Attention to detail is an understatement ! Then throw in quality performance parts from Hinson Racing, Pro Circuit, Pro Pegs, CV-4, P3 Carbon and you have a recipe for one very bad machine.

Stopping power at a factory level ! Motostuff oversized front rotor kit and complete caliper are standard issue on many factory level machines.

Pro Circuits Ti-2 Shorty is constructed of Carbon Fiber and Titanium so its a perfect fit for the “Prodigy” build.

You can stair at this machine all day and still not see everything. Decal Works topped off the build with a custom set of graphics that are stunning.

2-STROKE THEATER :

If you are a motocross enthusiast, Tom White’s Early Years of Motocross Museum in Orange County, California is a must see. While shooting our new video series entitled “LEGENDS” we came across a few bikes of the past that bring back great memories of previous champions. This week in Fant Files we hop in our Delorian and set the date back to 1999. The year Jeremy McGrath took his 6th Supercross championship. CLICK THE IMAGE BELOW FOR MORE!
