TWO-STROKE TUESDAY: 2002 CR250 PROJECT BIKE

Our 2002 CR250 project is front and center on this week’s Two-Stroke Tuesday brought to you by Boyesen. It’s not 100% done yet but we couldn’t wait to share it with everyone. 2-Stroke hardware features new products from ICAN Industries and The Tire Wedge. Don’t miss the exclusive link to our 2017 2-Stroke only buyer’s guide at the bottom of this post!We decided to go with an old-school race look on this build instead of updating the plastics and are very happy with how it turned out. We worked with key companies like Dubya USA, Factory Connection, MTA Distributing and LA Sleeve to bring this 2002 CR250 alive.

We can look at this Scalvini cone pipe all day long. What you can’t see is the carbon fiber silencer that is equally impressive. Rekluse now offers a full Torque Drive clutch and cover for the older CR250.

The Galfer oversized front rotor kit was installed to increase braking power.

The engine was completely rebuilt by LA Sleeve to stock specs. The cylinder was sleeved while the top and bottom-end was rebuilt using a Wiseco complete engine rebuild kit.

The ARC RC-8 clutch assembly is machined out of billet aluminum featuring a quick adjust cable tensioner and a Memlon composite folding lever.

The IMS Core MX pegs are much wider than the stock pegs and feature a more aggressive pattern.

Keeps your tire from sliding side to side! The Wedge is easy to install, loosen nut and open clamp, slide over front bed rail. Sqeeze clamp then tighten nut.
