PRESS RELEASE FROM HUSQVARNA RACING:
Martin Davalos unfortunately will not race the upcoming Toronto Supercross due to personal reasons. Davalos, who won the opening round of the 250SX East series and fought for the podium this past weekend in Daytona, has shown he is a serious contender for the title. The current red-plate holder will return for the Detroit Supercross in hopes of continuing his chase for the 250 East Supercross Championship.
Word on the street is that Martin did not have his Visa in order and couldn’t cross the border into Canada to race. Hmm.
DID SWITCHING TO A SPRING FORK DO ELI IN?
Eli Tomac dominated at Daytona. In Canada he started great and went backwards. Word has it that he switched from the air KYB fork, to a spring KYB fork and couldn’t get through the viscous whoops. He’s not alone, as the Showa triple Air guys are having issues and are on the constant search for a setup that works for the entire track and a whole moto.
