Colton Haaker, Josh Strang, Jacob Argubright return with the addition of Thad Duvall to round out the 2017 Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing Off-Road team. Haaker will look to defend both his 2016 AMA Endurocross championship and his FIM SuperEnduro championship. Strang and Duvall will compete alongside each other in the GNCC and National Enduro Series, and Argubright will look to take the top spot in this year’s AMA National Hare and Hound series.

DIRT BIKE OFF-ROAD SURVIVAL TACTICS

Dirt Bike actually made a series of How to ride videos in the 80’s. I was the voice of the videos, helped hugely by Heidi and Lori and they were tagged Off-road Survival Tactics. I got Larry Roeseler to showcase his talents (of which we got some great footage and commentary), Jimmy Holley, Steve Schmitz, Fran Kuhn and Joe Colombero all were part of the team. The video copy below is a little weak, but you can see our goal, the fun factor and remember, this was 1986!

WOLF: BACK IN THE DAY

test1-slide_0002 — Mammoth Mountain Motocross, my absolute favorite venue and one that I went to for a double decade. Here I was in my Ron Lechein mode on my Kawa KX500 which was flat incredible up in the elevation. A very mild powerband was softened even more, but was crucial as the motos got incredibly rough and my arms would pump up going to the line.
