In 2006, there were only two finishers out of 128 starters; World Enduro Champ David Knight (KTM) and British Enduro Champion Wayne Braybrook from the UK were the only riders to complete all 80 miles of the demanding layout. “Last Man Standing is the toughest race of the year,” said Knight. Then in ’07 Taddy Blazusiak dethroned two-time winner David Knight. Ten-time national trials champion Geoff Aaron was the only other rider to finish both 40-mile laps at the Red River Motorcycle Trails course on the Texas/Oklahoma border.

Fasthouse recently came across the opportunity to support two of the sport’s raddest riders—Darryn Durham and Tyler Bereman. “It is super cool to be involved with Darryn and Tyler. They’re our kind of people,” said Fasthouse founder Kenny Alexander. “They love to ride dirt bikes, have a lot of fun, and throw back a couple of cold ones.”
When the duo approached Fasthouse about their 2016 East Coast Is Toast Tour where over the course of the East Coast Supercross series, they will be traversing the country while making random stops at numerous riding spots and tracks. “That’s the goal—to have as much fun as possible—and that’s what we’re going to do,” said Durham about the upcoming trip. Both riders will be competing in the East Coast 250 Class aboard Thousand Oaks Powersports support machines—Durham on a YZ250F and Bereman on a KX250F. They will also be debuting the all-new Fasthouse pants, jerseys, and gloves. “I’m super stoked to get on the road and race,” said Bereman. “We’re going to film the whole thing, do 10 episodes, and document the entire trip. It’s going to be exciting.”
Following the Atlanta SX, you can expect a weekly East Coast Is Toast episode, covering each week’s adventures. All episodes are slated to be released on The Fasthouse Viewing website. It will be like you’re on the road with them, traveling the country and having the time of their lives.

RIP REDBUD MX’S GENE RITCHIE
The Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship family and the sport as a whole lost a legend on Saturday with the passing of Gene Ritchie, the founder and patriarch of RedBud MX in Buchanan, Michigan. A former motocross racer himself, Ritchie broke ground on RedBud in 1972 and began hosting professional motocross races in 1974. In the years since the tradition known today as the RedBud National began, held each summer on Independence Day Weekend, it has grown to become the centerpiece of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship.
