The legendary Tecate Enduro returns!
The Los Ancianos Motorcycle Club, at its most recent club meeting, has tentatively voted to bring back the legendary Tecate Enduro in late 2008!
As you can imagine, most details are still to be worked out, but it seems likely that the club will promote an enduro type event in 2008 instead of the hare scrambles type of event that it has promoted over the past several years. At this time the course is looking to be a multi loop 100+ mile affair that will both challenge the more experienced rider as well as give the less experienced rider a chance to enjoy northern Baja under the new AMA National Enduro type rules that do not require expensive and complicated time keeping equipment.
The event is tentatively set for Saturday December 13th. Details will be posted on www.losancianos.com as they become available.
