The Del Mar Mini SX Series held its first race just weeks before the Mini Moto SX in Vegas at Competitive Edge MX Park just off highway 395 in Hesperia. It brought out a lot of riders who were ready to get racing. Top pros like Ryan Abrigo, Derek Costella and Tommy Hofmaster enjoyed the new mini track at Competitive edge, which is awesome with great jumps and a pretty big uphill. Derek Costella warmed up for Vegas by winning the Minibike Pro class and Ryan Abrigo won the Midsize Pro, both on their BBR bikes. Jena Ellis was flying and took the win in the womens class on her Bigmini’s machine. With over 200 entries, the first round of the series was a success. Round two is quickly approaching and will go down at Racetown off the 395 on May 13. Check out www.m4sx.com for more info.
