TERRIBLE?S TOWN 250 ? April 27-29, 2007

The Best In The Desert Terrible?s Town 250 follows the record breaking start of the season at the Bluewater Resort & Casino Parker 425. This is “The Richest Off-Road Race In Nevada” hosted by the Terrible?s Town Casino and it takes place in Pahrump, Nevada on the weekend of April 27th thru 29th. There are countless stories unfolding and incredible racing action at every mile of this journey across Nevada?s scenic high desert! Considered the jewel of desert off-road racing, this race has something for everyone.

What Makes this the Richest Off-Road Race in Nevada?
How about the $40,000 guaranteed total purse! That?s right, the Herbst Famly is once again offering up the additional $40,000 purse. $20,000 goes to the First Overall Car or Truck – paid in CASH $$$!!! The remaining $20,000 distributed amongst the rest of the other classes. And that?s on top of the usual 50% payback of the entry fee.

Plus, if the First Overall finisher is driving a Ford Trick Truck, they would go home with an additional $10,000 from Ford for a total payday of $30,000!

At the 2006 event, over $122,000 was paid out in total prize money! When was the last time, if ever, that you?ve seen payouts like this at a desert race?!

The 250-Mile Loop Racecourse starts and finishes in Pahrump, with the finish line right in the parking lot of the Terrible?s Town Casino. There will be eight (8) pits for the Cars, Trucks and UTV?s with easy access for media personnel. You can get right on top if it to cover all of the action.

Take in the Herbst Family Barbecue – The Herbst Family is well know for their passion of off-road racing and they make a special contribution to this event by sponsoring an awesome “Western Barbecue” right after the race. This gives you the perfect opportunity to meet and interview the class winners! The Awards Presentation, including the big CASH PURSE, will be held on Sunday at the adjacent Terrible?s Lakside Casino & RV park.
