TECATE GP REPORT–DEC 13

Baja 1000 winner Kendall Norman took the win at the Tecate GP this weekend, leading most of the 3-hour race. The conditions were perfect as the snow the week before had melted and left moist deluxe dirt. Brent Harden got second on a stock KTM 200EXC. Brent grabbed the holeshot and held off the charging Norman part way through the first lap.

Nathan Kanney got a bad start but made his way through the pack and was charging, but the bolt for his rear brake parted from the bike and a dangling brake pedal ended his charge.

Bobby Bonds ended his race at the start straight after cartwheeling and getting KO’d for 10 minutes.
