Valencia Sport Group (SIXSIXONE) Acquires Sunline And exclusive rights to ARC Levers

VALENCIA, CA, June, 2004 — Valencia Sport Group, President Eddie Cole announced today the acquisition of Sunline Products and the worldwide exclusive distribution and manufacturing rights of ARC Levers. As of the 1st of August all Sunline product will be sold thru VSG and it?s authorized distributors; ARC will come on board starting 1st of September.

Christina (Ekins) Van Houdt who has been with Sunline for 24 years will become the Sunline Brand Operations Manager. “I am really excited to be associated with VSG/661 and their progressive plan to market existing and new Sunline product.” said Christina.

Mr. Bob Barnett the founder of ARC Levers has also signed an exclusive agreement that gives the worldwide exclusive rights to VSG/Sunline for ARC levers. “Eddie Cole has outlined a progressive marketing and products plan for 2005”. “I can?t wait to get started.” was Mr. Barnett?s comment; “This means I will have more time to devote to new and better product development, and my customers will get great and immediate service through VSG.

Also joining the Sunline team is Greg Berg formally of Berg Racing. Greg?s new position with VSG will be Vice President of Brand/Product Development for the new Sunline/ARC group. Mr. Berg, an off-road motorcycle and bicycle enthusiast has been a part of the motorcycle industry for the past decade. “This is an exciting opportunity for me to work with a great team who has done it all before, I expect to learn a lot and have fun while doing it.” Besides overseeing Sunline/ARC and associated new product Greg will be out there making himself known at the shows and racing venues.

Dave Ekins, founder and creator of short levers, 1977 (DeHandlers) and half waffle grips 1987 (Tacki-Grips) is coming out of retirement to lend a hand to assure a smooth transition from Sunline, Reseda facility to VSG offices in Valencia. “This is really great for everybody involved and I expect to develop a few new ideas of my own for the VSG/Sunline group.”

Eddie Cole stated “The VSG team is really excited about this tremendous opportunity. This will give VSG the product diversification we need and give our customers worldwide a complete, high quality line of products that will include a expanded Sunline and ARC Levers, Perches, Grips, X-bar pads, Shifters and Foot pegs and Cables.
