A tradition for 23-years, the Reno Arenocross will be held at the Reno-Sparks Livestock center on November 15-17th. This 3-day-long event features pro races on Friday, Saturday, and amateur races on Sunday.  This unique event takes place in the off-season of motocross/supercross series races giving riders a chance to warm up before participating in a full motocross series.

Arenocross put “Reno” in its title in order to become more involved with the community. With so many people needing to travel for the event, Director of Operations, Robert Hansen along with the Nugget’s Sports Marketing Director, Mike Milligan, had the idea to create a partnership.

“With the high cost of the sport, this is just an amazing offer,” said Hansen, “The Nugget and Arenocross really stepped up to the plate, not only are they offering a great rate for the racers but extended it to fans and amateur racers as well.”

When pro riders register online at, they have the option to book their room at John Ascuaga’s Nugget and receive free race entries for the weekend.  Amateur racers will receive $10.00 off every race entry when booking one night or more at the Nugget, and Arenocross fans staying at the Nugget also get a discount.
