Joshua Varize had the race of his young career in front of the 2019 Fox National MX crowd. In the Throttle Syndicate 125 All-Star race he went head to head with Ryan Villopoto and came out on top. The 125 race is a short affair between practice and racing at the national, but it has attracted an amazing amount of attention. Villopoto, who won the first round at the Hangtown National, took the holeshot and initially pulled a small gap. But halfway though the four-lap race, Varize, an Orange Brigade rider who rides a 125 full-time, was right there. With a lap to go, Varize made the pass of his life and then held off Villopoto all  the way home. Andrew Hertzler was third ahead of last year’s champion Robbie Wageman. Ryan Villopoto got out to an early lead and stayed there for about half the race.
Orange Brigade/KTM’s Joshua Varize made the pass on Villopoto later in the race and stayed there for the remainder of the four lap moto.
Andrew Hertzler rode to a third place behind Villopoto and Varize.
The runner-up finisher from the Hangtown 125 All-Stars race, Robbie Wageman came through the pack to grab fourth overall on the day.
Broc Shoemaker finished out the All-Stars race in fifth.
The endurocross star, Colton Haaker battled hard with the moto boys and grabbed sixth on the day.
