OMA Team FMF Suzuki report

Although it was an off weekend for the GNCC’s we had the entire team race the opener of the OMA series held in Tennessee. Bill Gusse is a great guy and the series is super strong.

We had Charlie Mullins and defending OMA champion Jimmy Jarrett on the RM250 2 strokes and Paul Whibley and Josh Strang on the RM-Z450 EFI’s.

Charlie gated well but crashed in the first turn and went back to last in the pro’s. JJ would take the lead and battle with teammates Whib’s and Strang. Meanwhile Mullins grabbed another gear and went to the front and opened up a comfortable lead while Jimmy, Whib’s and Josh battled amongst themselves. Jimmy had a crash and got stuck on the trail, Whib’s stayed strong and mistake free and Josh dealt with goggle issues.

In the end Whib’s made time on Charlie, but Charlie had backed it off a bit because his recently injured wrist was beginning to bother him. Jimmy came across 3^rd and Josh rounded out in 4^th .

All in all, a great day for Team FMF Suzuki off road, 1^st ., 2^nd ., 3^rd ., 4^th ., that’s the way we like it. We are off to S. Carolina for the next GNCC’s and my WORCS lites riders Jonathan Davis and Blake savage will be headed up to the Pacific Northwest for the WORCS race.

I’ll keep you posted,

MW
