The EICHMA show in Milan Italy is where many manufacturers pull the sheet off their new offerings for the coming year. The show is scheduled to start this week, but we were allowed in early to see some of the new hardware. One of the most active segments of the motorcycling market is the Adventure class. We already saw a new KTM 1290 Adventure last month, and now KTM continues to full out the class with a new 1050 Adventure, which is meant to offer liter-bike performance at a more reasonable price. KTM also gave a look at its 350SXF Factory Edition, which has a new motor that is said to be 8 pounds lighter. That makes the bike lighter than most 250Fs. Husqvarna had some news as well. The company showed two concept bikes that are scheduled for production in 2017. The biggest news there is the 400cc motor, which will be the first engine produced especially for Husqvarna. There was also a 700 SM with a motor that appear
s similar to the KTM 690. More information to come.
