MOTION PRO BLEEDER–JAN 15

MOTION PRO BLEEDER–JAN 15

Product Goal: Every rider out there knows the importance of bleeding your front fork. Air pressure can build up when you ride or when you transport the bike to higher locations. This internal pressure has an adverse affect on the performance of your bike?s fork and will make the ride harsh, far less subtle on square edged hits and ride higher in the front, which will hamper the cornering traits. Motions Pro?s Pro Bleeder works only on bikes that come equipped with a bleeder in the fork cap. You simply unscrew it and install the Pro Bleeder, which is a button bleed that requires a simply stab at it to relieve internal pressure.
Product Test: The Pro Bleeder installs quickly in the existing bleeder hole without modification and allows the rider to bleed excess air from the forks anytime without hassle. We fit them on our test RM250 and a YZ426 for testing purposes. The installation took a grand total of five minutes. With the bike on a stand (this relaxes and extends the fork to full length) push on the Pro Bleed button and you hear a pssssss. Done. Zipped tight. Your fork is bled of internal pressure and you?re ready to moto.
The Pro Bleeder does stick up out of the fork a bit and this was a cause of concern. We rotated them to the back (facing the rider) and have not as yet had any issues with the odd rock or tree branch snapping them off. For the off-road, this is a wonderful accessory. Long events tend to pump up your fork and now bleeding can be done without fear of losing the bleeder screw in the middle of the moon.
