Dylan Ferrandis didn’t have too much hope of winning the Western Regional 250 Supercross Championship coming into Las Vegas, but he had every intention of winning the race. He passed for the lead in the second turn and let the race play out. Points leader Adam Cianciarulo only needed a third-place finish to win, and that’s where he was. On the 10th lap, everything changed. Cianciarulo went down and bent his bike so badly he couldn’t continue. In the meantime, Chase Sexton clinched the Eastern Regional title by finishing fourth.
