Lafferty Wins The ‘Arizona’ Krusher, But Bobbitt Wins His Second Championship!

Defending national champion Mike Lafferty did what he needed to, (win the race) to keep his #1 plate and hoping that Russell Bobbitt would finish fourth or worse. He set out on a very quick pace winning the first two of six test sections, followed by Suzuki’s Ty Davis, Cole Kirkpatrick, Jordan Brandt, Honda’s Quinn Cody and Bobbitt. But as the day progressed Lafferty stayed on top but Bobbitt was able to work his way through the field and clinch his second national championship with a second place finish. Cole Kirkpatrick filled the final podium spot for the event and the series.
