ISDE UPDATE: DAY TWO

ISDE UPDATE: DAY TWO

KTM’s Kurt Caselli continued his excellent performance at Day two of the ISDE. His Special Test scores ranged from a 7th, a 3rd, 2nd and 1st in four timed tests, and more moderate times in the other three tests. David Knight crashed hard on the first special and was carted out of the facility.  Of note, Cory Buttrick had some very good test scores, but his improvement was offset by World Junior Trophy rider David Kamo’s breakdown when his ignition went out and pretty much melted.

Look for more later when Mark Kariya sends in his report.

More consistent but still a bit slower than the test leaders, Kurt Caselli nonetheless drew closer to the top and is unofficially sixth overall individual after two days.

U.S. Junior World Trophy team rider David Kamo joined Ricky Dietrich on the sidelines after melting an ignition wire and carb boot later in the day. Now both elite U.S. squads have lost a man–and the option of throwing out the worst score each day.
