ISDE 2018 CHILE, DAY 5; USA solid in second place

USA’s Taylor Robert and team lost ground to Australia but were able to extend their lead over third place Italy. Taylor was able to maintain second place in the individual overall standings, claiming two test wins today. Australia’s Daniel Milner continues to dominate the special tests, he would claim four of six wins today extending his lead over the rest of the field.  With one day to go the riders will be challenged in a traditional motocross race, where they will line up with their individual classes.

In the Junior Trophy class USA’s Josh Toth and Ben Kelley would continue to improve on their class positions. Josh would finish out the day sitting in fifth place in E1, while Ben is sitting in 11thplace in E2. Grant Baylor and the team are still sitting strong in second place behind Italy.

USA’s Brandy Richards had a stellar day by winning five of six tests and taking the day’s overall in the Women’s Trophy class. USA still sits second place behind Australia.
