ISDE 2018 CHILE, DAY 3; USA maintains second place

The racers were greeted with three new, yet very challenging tests today. USA would maintain their second-place position in World Trophy class behind Australia. During the day, the FIM made the decision to remove special test four due to the dust and unsafe conditions it created. A total of five tests were completed and scored. Australia would build on their lead from day two by another 1:32 giving them a comfortable lead heading into the second half of the race. USA’s Taylor Robert would drop back to second place in the individual overall despite winning two tests today. Australia’s Daniel Milner would take over the individual lead by 13 seconds after winning two test and finishing second in three test.

In the Junior Trophy class, Italy would extend their lead over USA by 39 seconds despite Josh Toth and Ben Kelley putting in their best test overall finishes, 13th and 24th. USA’s Grant Baylor would finish eighth overall on the day.

Tayla Jones and her Australian teammates would extend their lead over USA in second and Spain in third.
