I-5 MX Update

The e-mail below is about re-opening the I-5 Quail Canyon track.

 Hi,

Over the past three weeks I have received hundreds of emails from all of you expressing your concern regarding the closure of the MX track at Quail Canyon . I appreciate your sharing your thoughts about the track and your desire that we keep it open. I am very grateful to those of you who offered to come operate the track and those of you who offered to volunteer once we get the park open.

 I am pleased to let you know that California State Parks, OHV Division will open Quail Canyon at Hungry Valley SVRA in the next couple of weeks. While we may decide to contract out the operation of the facility in the future, for the time being, the State will operate the track.
