Jacob Argubright Places 2nd at National Hare and Hound. Andrew DeLong Finishes 4th at Big Buck GNCC.
Sunday, April 13, 2013 – Jacob Argubright 2nd at Slim Tesh Memorial Hare and Hound
Team Husky desert and off-road specialist Jacob Argubright took advantage of clear, windy conditions today in California’s Lucerne Valley to finish first runner up at ‘The Slim Tesh Memorial Hare and Hound’, round #4 of the National Hare and Hound Championship Series. A perfect sun-filled April day in the high desert delivered wide-open racing that this series is famous for.
‘Everything went really good for me today and I had no problems at all. My FC 450 ran fast and I lead for a portion of the race,’ said Jake.
High winds throughout the weekend made it difficult in the paddock areas but proved beneficial for the front runners.
‘It was very windy but it did keep the dust moving so we ran tight and battled back and forth. It’s good to finish on the podium again and I’m looking forward to coming back out here for Round #5 in a couple of weeks.’

Sunday April 13, 2014 – Andrew DeLong 4th at Big Buck GNCC.
Andrew DeLong’s #10 FE 350 was the first Husqvarna to find the finish line today with a 4th place at the Big Buck GNCC. The challenging course is famous for tight wooded trails, creek crossings and long rocky climbs but DeLong’s composed ride and cool under pressure demeanor nearly landed him on the podium.
‘Andrew had a good ride today. He got off the start in 7th, moved up to 4th and held it there until the end. His bike setup seems right and this type of terrain suits his riding style.’ Said Husqvarna team manager, Andy Jefferson. ‘I’m happy with his performance.’

Also racing at the Big Buck was DeLong’s teammate Mike Brown who used this GNCC round as a training day for the upcoming AMA Endurocross season opener at Las Vegas. ‘Brownie’ and his FE 350 took an 11th place XC1 Pro finish.
A tip of the helmet also to Andrew’s younger brother Craig DeLong who captured the A-Class win aboard a Husqvarna TC 250 two-stroke.
