Husaberg’s Nick Fahringer Earns First Podium

Marquette, MI – Husaberg Factory rider Nick Fahringer earned his first podium of the season at the fifth round of the National Enduro Series.

Fahringer, who had been inching closer to a podium finish each round, was incredibly excited to take home third. ‘I have been training hard and I feel more comfortable on my Husaberg than I ever have,’ remarked Fahringer. ‘I’ve known that I had the ability to finish on the podium and I am glad to have finally proved that.’

The weather on race day was perfect and the terrain was just as expected, some sand and rock. Fahringer easily adapted to the course and the six special tests. At the end of the day he finished just three points off the first and second place rides of Red Bull KTM’s Mike Lafferty and Russell Bobbitt. ‘I’m glad to finish closer to them, but I really hope to be a threat for a win before the end of the season,’ stated Fahringer.

With five rounds down Fahringer now sits fourth in overall points.
