HRC HONDA SUPERCROSS TEAM, 2019

The Honda factory team has had only a short period of time to test and develop a new bike for the 2019 Monster Energy Supercross season. The production bike for 2019 has a new frame with different flex characteristics, and that means the team has to develop new suspension setting for Cole Seely and Ken Roczen. We have photos of the new team at work, although information is thin at this point.  Glean over the photos with us and get ready for A1.

Cole Seely is back from his injuries and will be up to speed at A1.
Ken Roczen is said to be riding much better than he was at this time one year ago.
The new bike will have most of the same components as the 2018 race bike.
The works Nissin brakes are machined from billet.
The team bikes will be using DID ERV5 chain.
Boots have a short lifespan for a works rider.
The riders are allowed to choose between Showa and KYB suspension components. Seely uses KYB, Roczen prefers Showa.
The clutch is hydraulically actuated with works components. The basket is Hinson.
Yosh again supplies the exhaust equipment.
