COLTON HAAKER WINS CONTROVERSIAL KING OF THE MOTOS
This year’s King of the Motos (KOM) realized a format change using 3 motos, and one of those was a night race. All the navigation is done by a GPS on an unmarked course. KTM’s Taylor Robert took the tough night event after a race long battle with his teammate Cody Webb. Husky’s Colton Haaker dealt with some navigation issues and settled into third place quite comfortably. In the final event Roberts and Webb duked it out, with Webb taking the checkered only after Taylor crashed hard and had to get air lifted out. They restarted, Cody thought he was first, but missed a GPS checkpoint (right at the finish line), which cost him the win. Colton Haaker raced smart, stayed on track and took home his second KOM Extreme race victory.
- Colton Haaker (3-3-1)
- Max Gerston (4-2-2)
- Mitch Carvolth (5-4-3)
- Noah Kepple (6-5-6)
