COLTON HAAKER WINS EVERETT ENDUROCROSS: ROUND 5 RESULTS

Rockstar Husqvarna rider Colton Haaker and Red Bull KTM rider Cody Webb are locked in an intense battle for the 2018 Super Endurocross championship. After round six in Denver where fans witnessed some very aggressive riding during the head-to-head bracket races everyone was amped up for the penultimate round in Washington. Webb and Haaker would both win their heat races and faced off again in a head-to-head battle. This time Webb beat Haaker for the championship bonus point. In the main event Colton Haaker made a pass on Cody Webb with two laps remaining to take the Everett Super EnduroCross main event win. Kyle Redmond rounded out the podium in third aboard his SRT Husqvarna. Ty Cullins finished fourth on his Beta followed by Gas Gas mounted Noah Kepple .

Colton Haaker “I’m really happy with my performance the past two weeks,” said Haaker. “It felt great to take my fist win in Everett at a really important part of the season. We have one race left with our biggest lead of the season so far..so fingers crossed everything goes well in Idaho and we bring home this title. Thanks to the whole Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing Off Road Team for their efforts. It has been incredible so far!”

Cody Webb:“Everett EnduroCross almost went as planned. I finally won my first bracket race of the year and I was really looking forward to the Main Event. I went back-and-forth in the lead and made a bobble with a lap to go and gave up the lead. I did everything I could the last lap to get it back, but had to settle for second. Everything was working awesome and I need to minimize those mistakes at the final round.”

Kyle Redmond “It was a great race. The track was super technical and tough, which suited my style. Me and Ty were battling for third in the championship and the race. Unfortunately, I think he got landed on. We were in a tight battle and they (Haaker and Webb) were in a tight battle and there was not enough room. I have worked really hard this year and I’m happy to get a good result.”

Martinez made her way from last to fourth on the opening lap, and she continued to fight her way into the lead by lap three.
