CHAD REED INJURY: “BUMMED MY YEAR COMES TO AN END …”

Chad Reed was injured on the first lap of the main at the 2019 Seattle Supercross. His injuries are severe enough to put an end to his season: broken ribs, scapula and a collapsed lung. He was positive about the track and promises to be back. The crash caused a chain reaction of events that put Marvin Musquin’s win into question. To read about the controversy, click here.

This is what Chad had to say on Instagram. “Yesterday was fun. Finally a halfway technical track. The whoops were so freaking awesome. Loved every pass. Unfortunately, a mistake in the main was costly.  8 broken ribs, broken scapula and a collapsed lung. I’m bummed my year comes to an end with 5 to go. Thanks @dantruman101 @sheetmetal220 staying with me. Thinking of everyone involved. I’ll be back!”
