It was a much closer, more hard fought battle than Ricky’s recent runaways, but in the end, Carmichael took the checkers with Jeremy McGrath a scant two seconds behind. That gives Carmichael a 29 point lead, and a shot at being the first rider to win 14 supercrosses in one season. The record of 13 wins belongs to McGrath for his 1996 season.
