CARMICHAEL DOMINATES DALLAS!–APRIL 21 |
Shortly after giving up the lead to Carmichael, McGrath relinquished second place to the Frenchman David Vuillimen and by lap 11, it was a two-horse race. The Cobra planned to sit back and hunt Carmichael, waiting until the end of the race to make his move rather than pass early and become the hunted. Unfortunately for Vuillimen this weekend, David could not slay Goliath, as he did using the same tactics earlier this year in Indianapolis, and Carmichael went on to an easy win. For Carmichael, it?s just one more step towards earning his second consecutive Supercross title and continuing to establish himself as the man in the 21st century. Following his gnarly loop-out in Pontiac (where he reeled almost everyone in to finish second), Dallas proves once again Ricky?s mental toughness and determination. If the competition?s not shuddering now, they should be. It?s shaping up to be a tough decade for those chasing the (usually) red #4. 250 Results 250 Point Standings (After 14 Rounds) 125 West Results 125 West Point Standings |
