Mr. “ISDE” Jeff Fredette sits in the upper atmosphere of athletes who have transcended time with incredible results and superhuman longevity. His first ISDT event came in 1978 where he competed on a Penton and won a gold medal in Swedish ISDT. Suzuki was launching their PE line and Jeff got signed up and went gold in Germany, France and Italy in consecutive years from 1979-’81. His relationship with Kawasaki began in 1982 and continued until his final ISDE event in Argentina, 2014. During this time Jeff competed in 34 ISDT/E events and incredibly, finished the first 33 events! His final Six Days in 2014 was his first DNF, when his Kawasaki ate some sand and destroyed the engine.
