BLAST FROM THE PAST: REX STATEN AT THE USGP

Rex Staten will go down in history for his inspiring race at the 1975 U.S.G.P. Harry Klemm, Rex’s mechanic (who would go on to become one of America’s top tuners through Klemm Research) tried everything to keep the CZ together. He welded broken motor mounts in between motos and tried to find a cure for Rex’s hands that were hamburger after moto one. Rex was leading  until things started coming apart. Thanks Mark Kiel for his capturing this moment in our racing history.
