Broc Glover, part of the infamous El Cajon Zone (Glover, Rick Johnson, Ron Lechien) reigned as one of the top motocross stars for 12 years (1976-1988). Tagged the “Golden Boy” Broc’s blonde curls and exceptional talents on a motocross machine got him a ride for DG in 1976, racing Honda Elsinore’s and finishing in the top 10 at every national he entered. In 1977, he got a factory ride from Yamaha where he would spend his career until retirement in 1988 (though he did return briefly racing a KTM in Europe in 1989). While Broc won six outdoor MX titles, he never won a  Supercross championship. In 1985 he barely got edged out for the title by Jeff Ward and he will always be known for winning the final Supercross every held at the Los Angeles Coliseum.
