Buffalo Bills Hotel & Casino played host to round 5 of the District 37 Big 6 GP series put on by the Shamrocks MC. With less than ideal conditions, the fastest riders in the west did battle for a solid hour and a half for bragging rights going into the summer break and a nice chunk of the $2,000 Pro purse money.
Test rider Blayne Thompson was out front early dropped down a couple positions during a pit stop and then charged back to win the overall aboard his FastHouse backed Honda CRF450R.
OX Motorsports backed Zach Bell was in a battle with just about everyone up front for the win. He would have to settle for 2nd overall at round 5.
Eric Yorba put his RPM Race Team KTM on the podium in 3rd overall. Yorba ran up front all race and actually took the lead a little past halfway but lost it while pitting for gas.
The battle for the lead between Bell and Yorba at about the halfway point.
RPM Racing KTM rider Dante Oliveria dominated the Pro 2 class.
Mitch Anderson is always a player to win the Pro 2 class and in Primm Nevada it was business as usual. He ran up front but would have to settle for second in the Pro 2 class.
Gordon Ward seems to get faster with age! He is winning just about every race he enters. He is the current championship points lead in the 30 plus, 40 plus and 50 plus expert classes.
