BETA DUAL-SPORT GIVEAWAY

Cliff Reed, of Tucson, Ariz., won a Beta motorcycle after riding the 2017 There Will Be Dust Beta AMA National Dual Sport Ride, hosted by Trail Riders of Southern Arizona.
Thanks to sponsors of the Beta AMA National Dual Sport Series, participants who rode at any of the 2017 series events were automatically entered to win prizes from Beta, Sidi and Seat Concepts. Adventure Motorcycle Magazine (ADVMoto) was also a sponsor.
“To be honest, I didn’t even know there was a raffle going on for the dual sport series,” Reed said. “It was a complete surprise to me. I actually had to go look in my American Motorcyclist magazine after I got off the phone with [the AMA] to confirm it was real.”
Reed started riding dual sports in 2012 and joined the AMA in 2014.
“I appreciate the AMA helping to keep the sport active, and the advocating the AMA does for riders is a great thing,” Reed said. “I’m really happy to get a brand-new motorcycle. This will be the first new one I’ve ever had. I’m really pleased it’s a Beta. When I was first looking for an enduro bike, I read a lot of good reviews online about them.”
Reed chose a 2018 Beta 390RR Race Edition and picked it up at On Any Moto in Tucson, Ariz.
“All of us at Beta USA are very happy to present Cliff with his new Beta,” said Beta USA President Tim Pilg. “Winning a new motorcycle is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and we are pleased to be a part of this great program. The guys at On Any Moto prepped Mr. Reed’s new bike, so he can now enjoy his new Beta.
“The AMA has been a great partner with Beta USA, and we are excited to continue the program so that other riders have the same chance to win a new Beta,” Pilg said.
Bob Ryan of Lake Mary, Fla., and John Durigon of Orange, Calif., won a pair of Sidi Motorcycle boots. They participated in the Beta AMA National Dual Sport rides hosted by Dixie Dual Sport and Big Bear Trail Riders.
The winner of a Seat Concepts motorcycle seat was Chris Sulit of Township of Washington, N.J., who rode the Hammer Run National Dual Sport organized by the Tri-County Sportsmen.
The 2018 Beta AMA National Dual Sport Series, presented by Kenda Tires, is also sponsored by Seat Concepts, IMS Productsand ADVmoto.
